Celebrate Abundance
This image was created during the performance piece, Celebrate Abundance, performed at Dance-A-Rama, in Western Sky Studio on May 3rd, 2009. Dance-A-Rama is a National Dance Week event. During the performance the camera was placed in the middle of the performance area, so that as it rotates it captures the entire studio. The adience was invited to make a circle around the performance area. One volunteer from the Audience, Beth, served as reader, reading the lines from the poem below. The audience then, responded with the refrain Celebrate Abundance. A special thanks to the dancers, Minoo Hamzavi, Mary Reid, and Jim Beatty for their participation, and to all the other Terrain members for their dedication and support. I'd also like to thank the member of the audience also, who were willing to come forward and participate.
